Woodwind Department

Our faculty represents diverse teaching and performing careers in symphony orchestras, solo recitals, and chamber music, encompassing all styles.  At the University of Akron, applied lesson study is offered in flute, oboe, clarient, bassoon, and saxophone.  In addition to weekly private lessons, our faculty offers weekly studio master classes as well as courses in pedagogy, orchestral repretoire, and reed-making.  Performace opportunities are always available and encouraged.  Meet our faculty!
